Sprint HTC EVO 4G – Vivek’s First Impressions

MSFT Retaliates Against Google's Security Claims


Microsoft's Brandon Leblanc defends Windows security despite reports from Google employees.

Although Microsoft VP of corporate communications Frank X. Shaw already had his moment in the spotlight with Google-related comments on Twitter, Windows communications manager Brandon LeBlanc came out and updated his Windows corporate blog with his view--a retaliation of sorts--over Windows, security, and the comments made from the Google employee(s). LeBlanc builds his defense and covers all the basis, spanning from Yale's decision to delay its move Gmail to the high-risk malware attacks on Apple Macs.

Google Launching Chrome OS This Fall



Would it be any surprise if Google launched the Chrome operating system this October?

As if on cue in light of recent talk that Google is kicking Windows to the curb, the search giant plans to release its Chrome operating system this fall. According to Google, the open-source software will be free and available to the general public. In a world that's relied heavily on Microsoft-based operating systems for over two decades, competing with Redmond is a huge task, especially for an OS that's based on a browser of the same name.

Adobe Offers Reader Application for Tablet Computers


Adobe Systems has debuted a reader application for tablet computers based on input from Wired magazine, the first to use the format. Adobe's David Burkett said users of InDesign CS5 will be "well on your way" to producing digital publications. The Wired Reader app takes a while to download the first 520-megabyte digital version.
